Access the [Rooms/Apartments] section, to add a new room/apartment,
then click on the orange [Add] button

On the new page that opens, you can start configuring your new property type.
Keep in mind that the only mandatory information needed to create your new room/apartment are 4 things:
Room name
Quantity
Number of guests
Minimum price
Room/Apartment:
Β In this first section, write the name of your room type or the name of your apartment.
Enter the quantity of rooms you plan for this specific type.
Guests:
In this section, you can configure the number of guests expected for this type.
If you have a hostel, you can activate dormitory mode. If you want to configure the room for children as well, you can activate the limit adults/children option and also configure the number of infants allowed.
Rate options:
In this section, you'll be asked to set a minimum price. This is mandatory data to allow you to save the new room.
It won't be communicated to your guests, nor set on your calendar, it will only serve the system to show you a warning if you accidentally enter a lower price:
In this section, you can also decide whether to activate the triple the price or close for the next days option for the upcoming days, to avoid receiving last-minute bookings.
Once you've completed this initial information, you can already save your new room/apartment by clicking save at the bottom of the page.
Below you'll find all the other sections of the page that will allow you to add advanced configurations:
Show/Hide:
Decide in which sections to show this room.
Decide whether to:
Hide room from your booking engine
Hide the room from your Octosite
Hide the room from your calendar
Hide the room from statistics
Hide the room from the page for adding reservations
Notifications:
If you want to send all notifications related to this room to an email address different from the one saved in Settings > Property, you can enter the contacts in this field. If you need to enter multiple email addresses, you can enter them separated by a comma, without spaces. Note: Notifications refer to communications regarding bookings (confirmed booking, pending booking, cancelled booking)

Descriptions:
In this section, you can indicate the name of the type as you want it to appear in the booking engine. This article explains it in detail.
The label will help you define the type in the booking engine. For example: if in this section you write "loft", in your booking engine it will look like this:
The description entered in this section will be visible on your booking engine.
The other fields you'll find in this section are useful information for configuring prompts for octogpt.
General features:
Configure the size, number of bathrooms, beds, and bedrooms.
In this section, you'll also find the field the amenities. All this information will be shown in your booking engine.
Images:
Upload the images you want to show in your booking engine for this room/apartment.
