ICS is the universal format used by many email and calendar applications as Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar and iCal from Apple.
With the iCal connection, Octorate is enabled to check the ics data in order to create correspondence: dates will be synchronized, so that all the dates mistakenly open will then be closed.
In order to download it from your Octorate platform, go to Rooms > Edit
If you go down left you can find Useful links section. You can click on "copy" to copy the link, or you can download it.
Before you leave the page, scroll down till the bottom and click on the [+] in the iCal section to add the ics link of the platform you're connecting.
Save at the bottom of the page.
⚠️ ATTENTION: Before setting up the Ical connection, check that the dates on the portal you want to connect are closed correctly. If there were closures set incorrectly, we advise you to remove them from the portal before setting up the Ical connection with Octorate.
We also advise you to check with the portal if the Ical link they have is able to read the reopenings as well.
⚠️ ATTENTION: Before setting up the ICAL connection check the quantity of your rooms, the ICAL connection will work correctly only if your type of room connected in ICAL has 1 quantity:
