Generate an access code πŸ”‘

With Octorate, you can create a door opening code associated to the selected Real Room/Apartment. It will then be necessary to make sure that the Tableau has been set up correctly!

Β

The code can be assigned arbitrarily either from Octorate, by creating a random combination of numbers, whenever a PMS room is selected, or from a checkin provider via API, like OK Home or STS Hotel (⚠️ Should you work with another provider, they'll send you this code. So that's better if you simply deactivate this option in Octorate).

Β

Access the Marketing > WebConcierge > Door opening code section, then set the first entry on ON, if you wish to activate this functionality.
Set up the length of the code that will be created and the template you wish to send the code with.

Β

Β

If you wish to display the code in the template, you will need to select the accessCode variable, from the [Room] menu

Β

the customer will get the email according to the set up rules of your template

The code will also be visible when accessing the WebConcierge, in the dedicated section

Β

⚠️ WARNING
The code gets updated whenever you change the real room associated to the reservation. In that case, do not forget to let the customer know and give them the new code, which is also visible from the Internal Note section of the reservationπŸ‘‡
