The Booking Engine OTA!

1- Create the new OTA
from the mother account, access the Booking Engine EVO > OTA Booking Engine section, then click [create OTA] to create the new Network.

 

In the new page fill in all the information for your OTA: 
- Name of your newwork
- Style and graphic: here you can set the page components in search filters (1) and in results (2)


- In this section you can also decide if activate Tags*: 
 


- Description: by putting a description in this field, it will appear in your booking engine in this way: 

 

 

2- Connect Octorate accounts to your OTA

CASE 1: if you want to include all the properties of your network in your OTA, you can do it directly from your master account, by clicking here: 

 

CASE 2: If you don't want to activate the OTA in all the properties of your network, you will have to access each child that you want to include in your OTA booking engine.
You have to click on Booking engine > Booking engine OTA > connect, and send the connection request to the OTA. 

  • Click on connect:

 

  • Write the name of your OTA and then search to find it: 

     

 

ATTENTION: The request to be connected to the ota can be made both by the structures that are part of your network, and by other interested external structures, as long as they are our customers 🌍

 

3- Approve the connection request for your OTA

In your Master account, you will see the properties that have requested to connect to your OTA and you will have to accept them by clicking here:

 

For each structure, pay attention to the icons that appear in the column with the eye:

  • If the green flag (1) appears: everything is ok, this property is ready to be shown in the ota

  • If the pin of the location (2) appears: check that the structure has correctly configured the address and location in settings > properties

    🔺WARNING!
    In order to be displayed online, each son account needs to meet the following requirements:

    a. Location section in Settings > Property properly filled in, and pin correctly positioned on the map 📍
    b. Pictures uploaded in both, the room config page and (especially) in Booking engine > Images 🎑
    c. At least one room 🏡 in the Rooms section.
    d. Updated calendar with rates and availabilities  📆 (at least 30 days) 


4- Customize the accounts:

In each son account, in Booking engine EVO > Booking Engine OTA > Show , I can see all the OTA connected:

 

By clicking on show you can choose the search tags that represent the structure, already configured in the parent account*:

 

When making the reservation, guests will be able to use Tags to filter the results and see only properties with the selected characteristics.

 

5- Try out the Widget
From the Booking Engine > Booking Engine OTA section of the mother account, click on the small blue arrow to see a preview of the booking engine.

 

 

Here you have the new Booking Engine OTA with the available rooms! 

6- The integration of the widget on your website

If you have your own external site (and therefore you are not using an Octosite), you will need to create a widget in booking engine > widget and then ask your web master to install it on your site.

🔺WARNING
in order to see the properties on the map, click on [Filter with Map]
especially, when you decide to zoom it

Click on [Show all] to choose the filters and select the tags from the Others section

The guest will also have the chance to mark all the properties they like as preferred and share the results with other people!
