If you need to set closures on your calendar that are valid only for OTAs, this is the guide for you.
There are several ways to close the availability on the portals, let's see them together:
- You want to close all rooms, rates and all dates for sales in a specific OTA:
In this case you can set the value 0% to the availability of that specific ota. Click HERE to read the complete guide.
- You want to close all the rooms and all the rates of a portal for sales but in a specific period:
In this case you can set the value 0% to the availability of that OTA, indicating the specific period.

- You want to close a specific rate/room for sales on all OTAs:
In this case you will need to set sales closures (stop sale) and if you do not want these closures to be taken into consideration by your booking engine, you will need to go to booking engine > general settings and disable this option:
- You want to close rate for sales on a specific ota in some specific periods
In this case the configuration to be done requires a little more steps.
1) Create a derived rate for that portal and make sure it is also created in the portal and configured to be managed by the channel manager.
2) Map that rate with that portal --> Do the mapping.
3) Set the stop sale on that rate.
4) Hide the derived rate created for the portal by the booking engine.
⚠️ ATTENTION availability will be closed on the OTAs only if the room/rate to be closed are correctly mapped with the reference portal.
If after setting these restrictions you still see the rate available on the portal extranet, please check the mapping.
