To link the Daily Planning to your Google account, click on Calendar> OctoDaily> G> Housekeeping 👇
A screen will open where you will be prompted to choose the Account to link and then, to authorize Octorate to access and make changes.
⚠️ Remember to select all required permissions - as shown in the video at the bottom of the page!
Once the connection has been established, events on bed linen and room tidying will be created daily on Calendar for bookings for the following 15 days. If you have not already done so and want to set rules for the frequency of cleaning and linen changes during your customers' stay, update your Tableau setup.
Otherwise, events will still be created for all checkouts. To confirm the active connection status, you will receive an email and the plug will appear green. Click Run and check events on your Google calendar.
⚠️ WARNING - by connecting OctoDaily to GoogleCal, only the bookings of the 15 days following the current day will appear on your calendar.
Also, remember to set the Monthly View to be able to view them!
❗IMPORTANT ❗
- Only active bookings will be visible on your Google calendar
no canceled and / or pending reservations, no options / quotes - To be visible on Google Cal, reservations must have been assigned to a real room and be visible on the OctoDaily
- If you create new real rooms after connecting to GCal and have customized views on Octo Daily, you will have to delete them and recreate them to make the new real rooms appear. Also, you will need to reset the connection to Google Cal. (click here to find out how to disconnect GCal)

You will first need to create a specific user for your collaborator,
then you can create a Customized View of the OctoDaily.
Then ask your collaborator to access their view through their personal user and follow the steps described in this article to link OctoDaily to their Google Calendar.
