Mapping with portals

The mapping is the hub between the Channel Manager and a portal ๐Ÿ”—
there you find all the imported rates that will be then managed by Octorate,
as soon as the connection is activated.
---

Click on Channel Manager then on the orange plug against the portal of your interest, to access the mapping. Let's take Booking.com for example.

Here you are in the mapping page!

Along the sides of the screen, there are two columns: on the left ๐Ÿ‘ˆ the list of rates previously created on Octorate ๐Ÿ‘‰ on the right, the imported rates of the Portalย

As we said, our goal is that of linking the rates you will then manage from your Channel. Select then your rates by clicking on the items of the list, first on one side, then on the other.
Each selected item will appear in the middle of the page, in its own box ๐Ÿ‘‡

Rates must be linked by an arrow โžก
click on the small green box on the left to create the arrow, and keep the mouse button pressed until you drag it to the small orange box on the right.

Do the same operation for each rate.

๐Ÿ”บ WARNING! ย It is fundamental to link all the rooms belonging
to the OTA to the ones in Octorate!โœดโœดโœด

Once you've completed and checked your mapping, click on the Confirm the mapping! button on the upper left side of the screen ๐Ÿ‘‡
REMEMBER: this button is only visible the first time you establish the connection with the portal. If you're just updating then mapping, then it is normal that you do not see it.ย

To complete the connection, get in touch with us via chat
or email us at ย tech@octorate.com!
