π First, sign up for a free account on OctoTable.com
Fill out the form on OctoTable's website to activate a free account. You will receive an email with your credentials to log in for the first time and change your Username and Password.Β
When you log into OctoTable for the first time follow the setup wizard Β - π₯ Β or watch this Video Tutorial - to learn about the main functions and create the digital menu that your guests will use to order room service and purchase other extras in your property.

Connecting Octorate to OctoTable
Follow these steps on OctoTable to connect it with Octorate.
In the sidebar menu click on Configuration > Api account > add > OCTORATE
Enter your Octorate ID code and click on Save. In a few moments the system automatically generates the connection token using the login of your Octorate account.
OctoTable imports your properties from Octorate
As soon as you connect the systems, OctoTable automatically imports all your properties from Octorate.
Click on Hall / product on OctoTable's side menu to find the import of your rooms.
Click on the green button π EditΒ
To activate the connection make sure that Availability > Bookable > is set to ONΒ
Congratulations! π₯³Β
You have just linked your Octorate account to OctoTable!
Check that all the rooms have been correctly imported. You will find a list similar to this one:
As you can see, you can decide to disable/activate the service for each room or add other resources, such as a bar or a shared space. Now guests can conveniently purchase services and products from your digital menu inside your properties.
How does it work for your guests?
π Print the QR codes and display them in your rooms
By clicking on the Print QR codes button you get a pdf file with the QR codes to hang in each room / property of your structure. Something like this:

Easy, right? From now on guests can access your digital menu with their smartphone, order a room service, purchase products and services from the menu and pay the orders directly with the phone. Watch this short video to see an example of a purchase using OctoTable.

How to manage orders and room service with OctoTable
You can manage the orders from a single panel
Booking > Orders
Click on the icons to change the order status. Your guests will receive an automatic update every time the order status progresses.
π Create automatic notifications
To create and customize email and Text notification go to Configuration > Automatic Messages Β
You can create a special notification that your team will receive every time a guest places an order.
Click the green button π Edit to choose which user of your team will receive the notification, whether to send the same notification to the guest or not, edit pre-set notifications, translate the text of your notifications with one click in all the missing languages and much more.
How to manage invoices with Octorate
Let's get back to Octorate. Where can I find my guest orders and how to handle invoicing?
Every order from your guests is automatically received by Octorate and entered in Reservation details
The system also attaches a summary receipt with all the orders placed by a guest, specifying what has been paid already and what is due.
Click on Reservations > π Edit > Extras to view it on Octorate:

As well, guests always have access to a detailed summary of what they ordered, what is paid and due.
