To connect Airbnb to your dormitories we have two options:
Option 1:
Configure your ads for your dormitories with maximum occupancy 1, for a single bed. In this way your guests will be able to book one bed at a time.
Advantages of this configuration: prices can be managed directly from your Octorate calendar.
Limitations of this configuration: The ad is configured for 1 person only, so anyone looking for more beds together will not find your ad on Airbnb.
Option 2:
Configure the announcements for your dormitories by entering the total number of beds as the maximum occupancy.
example: if you have a dormitory for 4 people, put 4 as the maximum occupancy of the ad.
Advantages of this configuration: In this case, anyone looking for more beds together will be able to see your ad on Airbnb.
Limitations of this configuration: The bed will take the price of your Octorate calendar, but any additional beds will apply the price for each extra guest entered in the detail of the announcement in the appropriate section of Octorate:
Example: I have set the price on the calendar to be 25 euros, a guest tries to book for 2 beds, in this case the total reservation for both beds will be 45 euros. 25 euros (price of the Octorate calendar) + 20 euros (price for each extra guest)
This is a fixed value valid for the whole year.
