As a basic requirement, you must first have completed the section relating to the amount of the tax, located in the Settings > Properties> City tax section (at the bottom of the page, on the left)
Once the correctness of the data has been verified, access the Rooms / Apartments section, click Edit in correspondence of the listing of your interest, then access the content management page via the link
Then select the Airbnb icon, click on Download content from the portal to synchronize what you see on the screen with the details currently on Airbnb
and then access the tab dedicated to Fees
First of all, you must be authorized by Airbnb to send this information to the portal and you can easily find it out, based on the message you find in the section indicated.
If you can't, you will see it in a message written in red:
ATTENTION - usually, the possibility of not being able to send the City Tax through the Channel Manager depends on some geographical locations, it has nothing to do with "specific functions to be activated".
If Airbnb allows you to do so, the screen will be as follows:
Check the two boxes indicated and click [Save] and [Send to Portals] at the bottom of the page.
Your customer will see the amount related to the tax on the portal in addition to the amount related to the cost of accommodation
Who will take care of collecting the tourist tax between you and the portal depends on Airbnb.
