Manage your locks with Salto!

To connect Salto with Octorate you need to contact the portal and tell the portal and tell them you wish to be connected with the channel manager. 

Remember to ask Salto to activate the Salto KS version of the Hospitality section.

You will need to have the PMS and the WEB CONCIERGE activated in your Octorate licence. 

After configuring your account in Salto, go to Octorate and click on channel manager> connect a new site and select Salto.

Here, enter your login credentials for Salto (username and password) and the API key that was provided to you by the portal (Hotel ID).

At this point you can import rooms and do the mapping by connecting the real rooms of your tableau you’ve configured in Octorate:

Once you completed the mapping, write us on chat or at [email protected] and request the activation for this connection. 

After activating the connection, go to Marketing> Web concierge and activate the "enable code creation" option:

Two days before check in, the system will generate an access code that you will find in the booking details:

Salto will send an email to the guest, with the invitation to download the app:

Until the guest arrives, in Salto you will see him in the "people" section but with blocked access (1), only after checkin will you see him with active access (2)

Similarly, at checkout, access will be blocked.

To indicate to the system the check-in or checkout of a guest manually, just click on the appropriate buttons that you find in the booking details:

You can also decide to automate this operation by activating the "Automatic check in / check out management" option in marketing> web concierge

In this way the checkin / checkout will be registered based on the times set in the booking engine evo> general settings:

After registering the guest's check-in, you can decide whether to assign a TAG (a magnetic key)

Attention: To save the tag is necessary to click on the orange 

Once saved, the tag will also appear in Salto with the associated code: 

The guest will get in the room in three possible ways: 

1) By typing the door opening code received via email from Octorate

2) Through the tag key

3) By using the app
