Did you refund the customer but you don't know how to register it in Octorate?
It's very simple, read this article!
Access the details of the reservation in question and locate the Payment Mode section on the right side of the screen. In the same way as you register a collection, click on collect payment, select the payment method.
Just insert the symbol - in front of the amount to register, the refund and click Save.
⚠️ ATTENTION - do not forget to manually update the amounts in the reservation details
to make all the amount check out and ensure that there is nothing left to be paid.
Once the amounts have been updated, you can easily create your invoice, which will also show the entry related to the amount registered in negative.
What if the collection was processed by a payment gateway?
Also in this case you can process the refund from Octorate and it will be automatically registered by your payment gateway.

On the next screen you can choose the amount to be refunded and whether to process the refund through your payment gateway:
