First of all, make sure that your Airbnb credentials are not the same that you use to access Facebook or Google.
The credentials you will need to use to make the connection request must always be those of the Host, otherwise the system will not be able to import the listings. If you have listings in Co-host, modify this setting or make sure you have the host's credentials.
Access your Airbnb account and verify that each listing has these characteristics:
15+ photos (minimum resolution 800x500 pixels)
5+ services
50+ characters in description field
30+ days available in the next 12 months
8+ characters in title field
⚠️ ATTENTION: before proceeding with the next steps, make sure you are logged in to the specific Airbnb account you want to connect with Octorate, otherwise the system will not be able to import the correct listings.
It is time to access the Channel Manager section > Add new site in your Octorate account and look for Airbnb among the names in the list, then click [Connect]
Fill in the dedicated boxes with the credentials, then again [Connect]
If it is the first time you set up the connection between this Airbnb account and Octorate, a screen with Terms and Conditions will pop up and you will have to accept them.
Automatically, listings will be imported,
If you have a multi-account, once you accept Terms and Conditions, it will be necessary to select the listings you would like to import from this screen 👇
Save at the end of the page!
You will be automatically in the mapping page.
Complete the mapping, if you do not remember how to do it, follow the instruccions of our tutorial Octopill!
Once the mapping is done, you must to confirm it by clicking on the button
If you already have reservations in Airbnb and want to import them into Octorate, you can click on the import reservations button
When you are ready, you can activate your connection to Airbnb yourself by clicking on Activate connection
At this point all that's missing is synchronization, go to the calendar and follow the instructions you find in our Octopill tutorial!
We recommend that you sync your calendar for at least 1 year and wait for the outcome. If you see an error message like this 👇
