💣 Octo-Tips!

When you have installed the widget on your site, your guests will be able to access your site and, through the widget, access the booking engine page which will have the link book.octorate.com.

If you want to avoid this link change and keep your domain fixed, you will need to set the custom page option in the Page opening field in your widget settings:

In this field you will have to enter the link of the page, already existing on your website, to which you want to redirect your widget.

After you follow these steps, remember to instal your widget by using the second link you find in source code:

  • Theme: Choose the color and the layout of your widget

  • Font: Choose the font type of your widget

  • Language: Choose the default language of the widget. Selecting "Automatic" the language will be set according to the customer's browser.

  • Calendar type: Choose whether to give the option to select specific dates or to make monthly bookings:

Default values

  • Show empty values: Set it to NO if you want the fields to be explicit

  • Check-in advance, length of stay, guests

Enter the values of your interest in the fields below: days in advance of the arrival date, length of stay and number of guests.
The customer will be shown by default the boxes containing data that respect the values entered.

Exemple: it is October the 22nd and I set up the values as it follows

The widget will display precompiled cases like this:

WARNING - the customer can always edit the dates manually.
The setup of these values does not mean neither a proper set up of a minimum stay nor of the CutOff days.
