To connect Homes and Villas by Marriott Bonvoy with Octorate, you will need to contact the portal and indicate to them that you want to connect with the channel manager.
They will provide you the HMC ID you will need to set the connection.
In any case it will be necessary to create the ads from Octorate, even if you already have an active account in Homes and Villas by Marriott Bonvoy.
In Octorate click on channel manager > connect new site and select Homes and Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, then click on connect.
Put the MHC ID provided by the portal in the Hotel ID section:
After that, you have to create your listings from Octorate.
Click on rooms > view > edit by the side of the room/rate you want to push to Homes and Villas by Marriott Bonvoy.
Click on Manage room on…
From here, select Homes and Villas by Marriott Bonvoy and complete all the sections.
1) In General information fill in all the main info regarding your apartment:
Select the amenities and you can also set some amenities as preferred (1)
From these settings, the system will also define the title of your listing.
Example: if you have put "deluxe villa" as the category and selected "city view" as your preferred amenity, the title of your lisitng on Homes and Villas by Marriott Bonvoy will be "deluxe villa with city view"
2) In Room available, set the rooms and the quantity/typology of beds
3) In description, you can write a description and a title (if you don't want a default one taken from the general information). If you want to write a title manually remember it should have at least 8 digits.
4) In Pricing, you can set the cleaning fee:
5) Chose a cancellation policy in Reservation
Attention: if you skip this step, the system will apply the most restrictive cancellation policy provided by the portal by default.
6) Select the images you want to publish on your listing, you will need to select at least 6 photos
Once you completed all the steps, click on save (1) and then on save to portals (2)
Remember to contact us once you'v done all the process, so we will confirm if everything it's ok and activate your connection!
⚠️ ATTENTION: This portal does not read the minimum stay.
The portal does not support the configuration of suite rooms, therefore, if you have a suite room configured in Octorate, we recommend that you only push the entire suite and not the rooms that compose it.
