Authenticate Rental Contract Signatures with OTP Verification

If you have the Web Concierge package active in your subscription and need to request your guests to sign rental contracts, this feature is perfect for you.

You can request your guests to digitally sign rental contracts using OTP verification (One Time Password), ensuring greater security and legal validity for the signature.

How to Activate the Service

1. Load Credit to Your Account

To use this feature, you'll first need to load credit to your account:

  • Go to Upgrade > Purchase Credit

  • If you manage a multi-account, it will be sufficient to load it to your master account

2. Configure OTP Request

You can configure the OTP code request in the section: Marketing > Web Concierge

How It Works for the Guest

Contract Signing

When the guest accesses Web Concierge to sign the rental contract, they can accept it simply by clicking the appropriate button

OTP Code Reception

The OTP code will be automatically sent via SMS to the mobile phone number present in the booking details.

What happens if the phone number is missing?

If the guest hasn't provided a mobile phone number during booking, or if this information is missing (for example, when the booking comes from an OTA that doesn't share this information), the guest will be asked to contact the property directly to provide their number.

Completing the Signature

The guest will simply need to:

  1. Enter the code received via SMS

  2. The contract will automatically appear signed with their name and the phone number used for verification

Service Costs

Sending each SMS with an OTP code costs €0.50, which will be automatically deducted from the credit in your Octorate account.
